BACKGROUND

GrowGreen, an Australian fertiliser production company for over 10 years decided to change it's perceived perception in the market place. Growgreen was seen as an environmentally sustainable product but at a high cost and less effective than traditional techniques.
GrowGreen also required the ablity to continually change content and add product lines when they became available. The company decided to concentrate on 3 core products and roll other products out at a later date.

WHAT WE DID

Due to the high level of content required for each market sector and product, the site structure was suited to a dynamic or database driven approach. This would give the ability to make quick changes to existing content and add entire market sectors when required. It also means that you can simply manage 10 or 100 pages as they are generated dynamically.
The brand has a strong "green" or sustainable style but maintains the strong commercial focus with information presented with a high level of technical expertise. For this sector, precise presentation of the information is vital to build confidence and encourage farmers to change established methodology.
We provided integrated administration pages which allows Growgreen to simply add content when the information is available. Having a strictly formated template for each area has simplified the information gathering requirements and maintains the very strong corporate focus
With the inclusion of a cost calculator, the website user is quickly able to calculate the cost of using profert compared to their current suppliers. Demonstrating this cost benefit was a key factor in the website focus.
Growgreen has also formed a strong supplier relationship with agricultural distributer AIRR. This has resulted in the inclusion of a nearest supplier location page for purchasing Growgreen products. This has the added benefit of showing the Australia wide distribution network in place.

OUTCOME

The new site launch has resulted in positive feed back from agricultural suppliers and related industry professionals. The highly commercial focus and detailed level of presentation has impressed prospective commercial distributors.
With all technical and sales data centralized on the website, the client can have access to on demand brochures and sales materials. The distributors have also commented on this useful service.
